BISHALGRAH, July 14 (TIWN): Anganwadi workers on Friday sat in road blockade in demand of allowing them to sit in the interview for 1000 posts (Among 13000 posts) under Social Welfare Dept.

The blockade was held at Lalsingmura Stand over Saboom-Agartala National Highway.

The blockade continued for 3 PM to 4.15 PM caused massive traffic jam at there.

Dist Social Welfare Dept's programme officer  Chandrani Biswash, SDPO Prabir Pal, DCM Uttam Das Baishnab rushed to the spot and told them soon they will talk about this issue with the higher authority and controlled the situation on the National Highway.
