AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): Tripura Trinamool Minority cell in demand of Madrasa School Education's development placed deputation to Director of Elementary Education on Wednesday.
In a demand to Education Director the members said that due to the long deprivation by the left front Govt the Madrasas in Tripura are suffering from various problems.
TMC further placed 7 demands in their deputation :
1. 129 SPQEM Madrasas should be brought under State Grant in Aid,
2. All workers under SPQEM need to be regularized,
3.From modernization scheme the teachers who were brought under SPQEM, they must be given salary from the date of joining,
4. The teachers under modernization should get their pending DA of 2 years (1997-1998 & 1998-1999),
5. State Grant in Aid schools must be provided with teachers as per students' number,
6. Madrasas without cemented building should be given with cemented houses,
7. SPQEM Madrasa's vacant posts need to be filled up soon.
