AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): A team of Meghalaya Assembly has arrived Tripura on Wednesday.
The MLAs from neighboring Meghalaya had a felicitation meeting with Tripura Govt Officials and Assembly members.
Tripura Assembly Deputy speaker Pabitra Kar remained present on that occasion and welcomed the MLAs.
The MLAs in the visit will take notes from Tripura's developmental works to implement in their state's development.
Meghalaya is a state in northeast India. The name means "the abode of clouds" in Sanskrit. The population of Meghalaya as of 2016 is estimated to be 3,211,474.
