AGARTALA, July 5 (TIWN) : CPI-M turned Tripura into scam factory looting Central Govt money, pushing lakhs of lifes into jeopardy. Due to the arrogance and cunning attitude of Manik Sarkar led Left Front Govt and Tapan Chakraborty led School Education Department cruel fate is once again waiting for the 10323 terminated teachers. Recently state govt created some mysterious non-teaching posts but made it mandatory of having teaching experience of 5 years and 3 years for these non-teaching posts. From the very beginning this decision of the govt has created a lot of controversy . Under pressure from various sectors state govt was forced to modify its decision and ultimately amended the Recruitment Rules stating that even those working in govt recognized private schools and grant-in-aided schools having the requisite qualification can apply for these posts. But the state govt is learnt to have instructed the District Education Offices to create problems for those excluding 10323 terminated teachers while submitting fresh application for these posts.

Around 700 computer faculties having more than seven years of teaching experience are not allowed to submit application for these posts. It is to be mentioned here that around 700 computer faculties were recruited in Tripura. These posts were funded by the Information & Cultural Technology(ICT) of Govt of India and all the faculties were recruited by SCERT . At present these faculties are not working due to the continuous agitations of regularization and increase of salary.

These faculties joined their services under Headmasters of the concerned schools. During their tenure of service they were supposed to take regular classes as assigned by the schools along with their computer classes. Naturally their experience Certificates have been issued by Headmasters/Headmistresses of the Concerning Schools. But the District Education Officers are now creating problems as they are not willing to accept the experience certificates  as teaching experience certificate .

Speaking to TIWN on Tuesday night a leader of Computer Faculties said ," We are holding a meeting tomorrow at Agartala regarding the said issue. Our legal experts will also be there in the meeting . After discussion we will take next course of action. If we are compelled we will have to appear before the High Court demanding justice ."

Once School Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty promised that state govt will do every thing to protect the interests of computer faculties. But now he is not even willing to meet them. By this attitude state govt is again leading the 10323 terminated teachers to legal crisis.
