Uncertainty looms large over Tripura Medical College's affiliation : Tension increased after Badal Choudhury falsely says TMC as 100 % Private-Organization !

AGARTALA, July 4 (TIWN): CPI-M lies continue to mask their massive scams; so Tripura Health Minister Badal Choudhury said that the society running TMC has taken loan from state govt to function the college, but after taking 6 lakhs from each students why loan was needed it is fully suspicious, neither the state govt could clarify how much loan was given and taken between the society. Highly risky matter is that TMC is allegedly running without affiliation, whereas Badal Choudhury also declared clearly that TMC is 100 % a private College. Till day from TMC many students passed out and maximum are in Govt jobs but what will happen when MCI will recognize TMC is not a Govt undertaken College as reportedly, TMC managed its affiliation claiming it's a Govt undertaken College.

Tripura Medical College (TMC), whether it’s a  govt College or Private College, till day people could not know clearly anything about it. In a major charge, Tripura Opposition BJP leader Sunil Deodhar said that Tripura Govt took the affiliation from MCI but at the same time above 6 lakhs rupees are taken by the College, whereas at Manipur a student is taking admission at 700 rupees. The issue raised when Badal Choudhury on Doctors Day said that Indian Govt trying to give both the Govt Colleges in private hands and alleged that BJP leader Sunil Deodhar is taking special initiative to do all these. Condemning Choudhury, Deodhar strongly opposes the statement of Badal Choudhury saying that not the central but Tripura Govt handed over the College long back by introducing GNET in PPP model and continued to swallow public money per admission Rs. 6 lkahs.

Addressing the press meet, Deodhar said, “My first question for Badal Ji whereas you claimed that TMC will be given in corporate  hand, but in reality you only gave TMC in corporate sector. What was that GNET then that was joined by PPP model for the college ? From Kerala Bal Ch. Nayak  was brought, whom Tripura Govt gave 5 crores of loan per year”.

“To run the company 50 crores of loan was given to the Nayak and soon Nayak was disappeared. Later communist govt had recovered that loan. But no FIR was lodge initially ? Why Tripura Govt ha snot done anything to nab the Nayak ? 100 % the money went to Melarmath ?”, said Deodhar.

“Moreover, Tripura Medical College is not a Govt College, but to MCI it was said that it’s a Govt College run by society……again this college is taking around 6 lakhs per students”, said Deodhar.

Deodhar also said that the affiliation given by MCI has been ended in 2016.

“It’s clearly written that the affiliation was  not renewed after 2016 and thus Tripura Govt is under pressure as the College has taken 6 lakhs from each students”, said Deodhar.

“Then I understood only scams and scams are there and that’s why I wrote letter to Central Health Minister. I never said in that letter that the College should be given to private section. Rather I wanted the College should be run by govt at other govt colleges”, said Deodhar.

“To MCI Tripura Govt says it’s Govt College and to public it says it’s private college for the money. But if it’s a Govt College for what the 6 lakhs rupees?”, said Deodhar.

He further demanded the students should get back their money from the state govt.

Apart from that Deodhar also said that E-Hospital that was launched by Central Health Minister J P Nadda, it was another scam as Tripura Govt has no E-Hospital and records of patients that other state’s E-hospitals have via which the central govt reaches to the poor patients.

Deodhar also blasted Govt for not regularizing the doctors and keeping no standard in Education, when maximum teachers are running outside the state with Govt’s license.

At the end Deodhar strictly warned Minister abdal Choudhury saying,  ‘not to open his mouth to hit me as I have much more facts, corruption cases with me with proof’.
