AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): Tripura’s Education quality has gone to its worst shape under the long regime of Left Front Govt, once again proven on the admission day at Indranagar ITI College that led a huge chaos inside the College on Monday. Students alleged that instead of giving chance to the talented students, Govt has given admission to the open schools students, which is fully unethical and also a major scam. The open schools certificates lacks the validness like TBSE regular students, that is known by everyone but instead of knowing all these, how the students were given admission for ITI training it’s questionable. The students damaged the notice board where the admission list was hanged.

Asking the ITI authority, he told students to ask TBSE authority regarding this as all the certificates are under TBSE. With this question also raised, how TBSE is giving recognition to the students for admission whereas talented students are deprived ?

The students will also protest at TBSE and ask about the details about this open university.

Tripura’s Education quality under TBSE has turned pathetic and from Teacher recruitment to examination result, Tripura School Education lost its quality.

When Assembly was debating on a serious issue of recently created 13000 posts by Tripura Govt and the connection of it with quality education, Trinamool MLA Sudip Roy Barman raised an issue related to TBSE recently done scam with giving grade marks to the science students. Sudip Barman asked the Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty in relation to the grade marks given by TBSE for the science students which abled the board to pass a higher number of students this year in compare to the last year. But surpassingly, instead of Education Minister gave the answer, on May-28, the TBSE Secretary by his own name gave  press release by reference to the notification of May-25 with reference of Sudip Barman’s name. Question raised by Sudip Barman to the A, why a 3rdperson will counter attack by official notice outside the Assembly and by taking the person who raised question in the Assembly.

In a letter to the Chief Secretary of state, Barman further demanded immediate action should be taken against Poddar, who violated the law. In the ltter Barman wrote, “I am deeply shocked to see a notice by Tripura  Board of Secondary Education (TBSE), which was published in all the major newspapers of Tripura on May-28. This notice was signed by Secretary of TBSE Swapan Kumar Poddar….. I want to know whether Swapan Kumar Poddar has any legal right & jurisdiction to publish such notice against MLA?”

TBSE this time has given the grade added marks to all students without giving the grade marks separately. However, this issue was raised in the Assembly and the govt was advised too form a committee to disclose the actual marks.

Moreover, Poddar also citing example of CBSE said that CBSE in the name of modernization imparts each students 15 marks whether pass or fail as grade marks. As a result, a student getting 80 in real getting 95 in the marksheet.

Similarly, the open schools are also accused for giving high marks in exchange of money.
