AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): Tripura Medical College (TMC), another corruption honeypot created by Manik Sarkar run Tripura Govt to loot hapless students finally hit the dust as various corruptions exposed. In a major shock, Tripura Opposition BJP head Sunil Deodhar said on Sunday that Tripura Govt took the affiliation from MCI for AMC saying it's a govt college, but at the same time above 6 lakhs rupees had been taken from each student during admission, whereas at Manipur a student is getting admission at 700 rupees. The issue was raised when Badal Choudhury on Doctors Day said that BJP Govt trying to handover both the Govt Colleges into corporate sectors and alleged that BJP leader Sunil Deodhar is taking special initiative to do all these.

Condemning Choudhury, Deodhar strongly opposes the statement of Badal Choudhury saying that not the central but Tripura Govt handed over the College long back by introducing GNET in PPP model and continued to swallow public money per student's admission Rs. 6 lakhs.

Addressing the press meet, Deodhar said, “My first question for Badal Ji whereas you claimed that TMC will be given in corporate  hand, but in reality you only gave TMC to corporate sectors. What was that GNET then that was joined with PPP model for the college ? From Kerala Bal Ch. Nayak  was brought, whom Tripura Govt gave 5 crores of loan per year”.

“To run the company 50 crores of loan was given to the Nayak and soon Nayak was disappeared. Later communist govt had recovered that loan on behalf of Nayak. But why no FIR was lodge initially ? Why Tripura Govt has not done anything to nab the Nayak ? 100 % true that the money went to Melarmath”, said Deodhar.

“Moreover, Tripura Medical College is not a Govt College, but to MCI it was said that it’s a Govt College run by society……again this college is taking around 6 lakhs per students”, said Deodhar.

Deodhar also said that the affiliation given by MCI has been ended in 2016.

“It’s clearly written in TMC's Website that the affiliation was  not renewed after 2016 and thus Tripura Govt is under pressure as the College has taken 6 lakhs from each students since 2016”, said Deodhar.

“Then I understood only scams and scams are there and that’s why I wrote letter to Central Health Minister. I never said in that letter that the College should be given to private sectors. Rather I wanted the College should be run by govt like other govt colleges”, said Deodhar.

“To MCI for recognition, Tripura Govt says it’s Govt College and to public it says it’s private college for the huge amount of money. But if it’s a Govt College for what the 6 lakhs rupees?”, said Deodhar.

BJP further demanded all the former students should get back their money from the state govt as at Manipur Govt college students are giving only Rs. 700/- to become a doctor.

Apart from that Deodhar also said that E-Hospital that was launched by Central Health Minister J P Nadda in Tripura, it was another scam or a fully fraud website as Tripura Govt has no E-Hospital and records of patients that other state’s E-hospitals have via which the central govt reaches to the poor patients.

Deodhar also blasted Govt for not regularizing the doctors and keeping no standard of Education in TMC, when maximum teachers are running business outside the state with State Govt’s license from TMC.

At the end Deodhar strictly warned Minister Badal Choudhury and said, "Do not to open your mouth to hit me on baseless grounds, as I have been informed about more facts, corruption cases and scams done by you, which I don't want to expose now..... ".

Tripura Medical College Administration body consists of all Manik Sarkar’s corrupt bureaucrats:

1.Sri Banamali Sinha, Chairman of the Society - (Office) 0381-2370030

2. Sri Santanu Das, Chief Executive Officer - (Office) 0381-2373143

3.Sri Shankar De, General Manager (HR) - (Office) 0381-2370962

4.Sri Niranjan Baidya, Director (Finance & Accounts) - (Office) 0381-2370962

Former Education Secretary Banamali Sinha’s role in 10323 Teachers recruitment scam is well known fact, even Tripura High Court, Supreme Court cancelled CPI-M  Govt’s illegal recruitments as Manik Sarkar’s bureaucrats kept themselves busy in cash-collections to please their master.
