AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): Viswa Hindu Parishad is considered almost as a banned organization in Tripura like many other states,fueled by Communist's ideology in secularity. But sometimes, just because it's political egos and issues created by politicians, police remain inactive against even Indo-Bangla smuggling like issues. Left front is strictly against 'Go-Raksha' and TripuraCM Manik Sarkar also in Govt programmes says that 'It's up to the people fully what they will eat' fully misleading and creating confusion about actual Go-Raksha movement rules.

Whereas 'Go-Raksha' move fights only against the illegal selling and smuggling of cows, CPI-M's stand on it fully diverts the public from the reality.

In press meet Viswa Hindu Parishad (VHP) told media that on June 24 with the initiative of VHP rescued cows and handed over to Jirania police.

Police told the VHP leaders that as it is a smuggling case, so an FIR will be lodged in this regard. Calling for lodging an FIR,  the VHP members were asked to meet police at the police station.
But, allegedly after calling them, instead of lodging FIR the VHPs were threatened and warned by CPI-M cadres, (in front of police) for not to continue such activities in future.

On that night, VHP also placed deputation to the West SP demanding for action, but till day no action has been taken so far.

On 24th June around 11.30 AM VHP members had stopped a vehicle carrying 5 cows. Immediately, police was informed and O/C - Subir Ahmed, O/C Jirania Police Station detained the vehicle along with 3 persons.

Later, said O/C called both the parties to met in the PS. From VHP Dist Secretary Nepal Das went along with few other VHP members. More 2 persons were also called named Madhu Das and Tapan Das, but they are CPI-M members.

Soon more 100 people joined Madhu Das and Tapan Das. Then all of them started assaulting the VHP members and the O/C Subir Ahmed threatened VHP members to murder them. The VHP members anyhow fled away to save lives.

In this circumstances, SP West was requested to take necessary action and to lodge an FIR, but till day, police is just simply maintaining a silence over the issue, in a press meet VHP announced that.
