AGARTALA, June 27 (TIWN): After CBI had arrested one after one Trinamool leaders at West Bengal, now Tripura CPI-M's series of arresting to begin soon, as on Thursday CBI for the first time in Tripura to interrogate CPI-M Minister Bijita Nath at her residence. Opposition parties are in celebration mood and all have geared up to join the 'CBI-Welcoming' fest in front of Bijita Nath's house on Thursday. Especially Trinamool Congress is much more excited as if their long cherished dreams have been fulfilled after CBI in Rose Valley case arrested Tapas paul, Sudip Banerjee like figures at West Bengal. Holding a press conference Sudip Barman said, "Since Manik Sarkar has become the Chief Minister of Tripura in 1998, he started to shelter Chit Fund companies as much as he could that fueled the agencies to spread like boletus in the state. More interestingly, when he was law minister in 2000, the laws for Protection of Interest of Depositor was passed in the Assembly, although implemented in 2017".

"But, in Lenin's birth anniversary CM at Agartala town hall said that he didn't know that Rose Valley is a chit fund company. He is the Chief Minister of the state and doesn't know about the corruption going under his Ministry??", Barman added.

"When ear is stressed then the head will also appear. Same happened when Sudipta Sen was arrested in 2013 that led Tripura CM to ask all the SDMs and DMs to start filling up the records per month of various companies accounts. But surprisingly, even though the account maintaining began but the record of amount sent to CBI was very minimum merely Rs. 15,400/-. Why Govt didn't take records from its DMs and SDMs on that time ? What was the reason behind hide and seek ?"

Reacting against Bijan Dhar's comment that Tripura Govt first asked for CBI investigation in Rose Valley, Barman said, "He was lying, as it was Assam Govt who sent it on May-2nd, 2013 and when Tripura Govt sent for CBI inquiry in chit fund case, it didn't put Rose Valley's name and later it sent with only Rs. 15,400 rupees of case against 3 cases".

"Due to Kolkata CBI's investigation, CBI has linked Bijita Nath with the Rose Valley chain", said Barman.

However, Barman further said, instead of an isolated investigation Tripura Chief Minister should be interrogated directly as he was the brand ambassador of the chit fund companies. People knew him as a "wise-man" and that led the common people to invest for Rose Valley !
