UDAIPUR (Killa), June 27 (TIWN): Killa, the ADC area which is told as a model for development in Tripura and from foreign delegates to Central Officials all are taken to that area to site example of ADC-development. but at Killa there are places like Thumbari, Lailak which till day are suffering from various problems and cut of basic facilities of lives.

Almost like a forest area’s age-old living standard remained unchanged in that area for the villagers of Thumbari.

Thumabari is cut of transports also led the villagers to walk across the hills for every works.With a slight rain people can not walk on the roads resulting huge suffering per rains.

This area is left cut of power and water supply but Tripura’s Tribal Minister Naresh Jamatia belongs that area and public voter for him.

Moreover, malaria also kills many per year in that area but Health Dept remains unaware about it. A small stream flowing far from the houses which is the only source of water for the villagers.

This is the picture of development of Tripura ADC area, as a result of crores of central funds looting per year.

ADC has been considered as the goldmine for central funds, but even in the running year Rs. 168 crores that came for ADC remained unutilized under left front govt. This allegation was brought by ADC’s CMD Joy Kishore Jamatia recently.
