AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): BJP leader Subol Bhowmik on Sunday said that to divert the issue of CBI inquiry which will begin from June 29 with Bijita Nath for her alleged involvement in Rose Valley scam, these pre-poll violence have been arranged by CPI-M in Tripura.
“To save the face of left front Govt after its Minister Bijita Nath was noticed by CBI for interrogation on June 29 morning, CPI-M has begun killing, wounding oppositions so that public instead of CBI investigation talks something else.
A massive pre-poll violence were occurred in last few days and especially in last 48 hours when total 50 people were injured and 2 were murdered.
17 BJP leaders are left in critical condition whereas 2 have been already killed.
BJP leader Subol Bhowmik had called a press conference after the fresh violence held at Belonia's Satmura area today. Atleast 3 FIRs were lodged against CPI-M members at various placed of the state, but alleging police's biased attitude BJP has demanded Central Govt's interference in the issue.
"We have to do something. BJP supporters should not do politics by tolerating continuous tortures, already we talked to Home Minister's Office and BJP President is on the way to Delhi to meet Home Minister", Bhowmik said.
Surprisingly, the Belonia CPI-M goons were the same leaders who are in bail after they beat one Magistrate Sourav Saha in 2015's Sep-5 during All India Strike called by CPI-M.
FIR was lodged against Tapas Dutta, Trilokesh nath, Babul Debnath, Naresh Tripura, Asish Dutta and few others.
BJP also has accused Minister Badal Choudhury for triggering the violence who is presently residing at Belonia.
Subol Bhowmik described how police were not allowed to accompany BJP leaders at Belonia.
