'Not only to unseat Communists from power, but to generate 100 % employment should be target of BJP in Tripura' : Assam Minister

BISHALGARH, June 22 (TIWN): Terming the unemployment issue as the 'most serious' situation in Tripura, Assam Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Wednesday at Bishalgrah Koroimura Community Hall that out of 36 lakhs of population whereas 7 lakhs unemployed youths have reported from Employment Exchange Office, but apart from the Govt record Tripura has atleast 13-14 lakhs of unemployed youths. Unemployment is the ugliest form of the society". Describing the image of Tripura outside the state Minister in that Yuva Morcha organized programme said, "Outside Tripura people believe that Tripura is a peaceful state. There is zero poverty with no beggar, no unemployment whereas the reality is just horrifying". "Tripura's roads are the worst in whole Northeast and fortunately I also visited hospitals of the state", the Minister dded.

"Nothing is there but Communist is No-1 to prove what has not been done and No-1 to hide what has done", said the Minister.

"After coming in power, BJP's aim should be generate 100 % employment. Not a single person should suffer from no source of income", the Minister added. 

 Minister further congratulated BJP for the book publication of  'The Red face of Anarchy in Tripura-Manik Sarkar', puncturing the image of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar in Maratha language.  

Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma also urged for an Assamese version of the book.

Addressing the gathering BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar said, "After Assam, Manipur, Tripura's battle is showing the signal with a "Subh-Lakshan" for the next election and from Centre also focus is in Tripura which is ruling by Communists since decades".

Noteworthy, Assam Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has arrived in Tripura for a 2 day visit. Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma is an Indian politician who has served as MLA from the Jalukbari constituency in Assam from 2001 till 2015 from Indian National Congress ticket and from May 2016 as Bharatiya Janata Party member.  He is presently the Education, Health & Finance Minister of Assam.
