AGARTALA, June 14 (TIWN): On Wednesday Tripura Pradesh Congress led by state Party Chief Birjit Sinha has observed Satyagraha at Agartala to protest against the remark of Amit Shah who called Mahatma Gandhi as a 'Chatur Baniya' during a party meeting at Chattishgarh. However, what Amit Shah had actually said it is yet to know due to various politics in media fueled by NDTV like organizations. The remark of Amit Shah was, "The foundation of Indian Congress had not constituted following any ideology of a single person, neither it was followed by anyone's decision. Some British had formed a club-type of Association, which was gradually converted into a freedom fighters Association. In that organization, there were various viewers including Left Front. Maulana Ji, Madan Mohan Malaviya.....many people were included in the mission, Samajbadi, Communist..... this was not a single decision of Congress-party". "To achieve the freedom various kinds of personalities with different views entered in Congress and became a part of Indian freedom fight", said Amit Shah that snatched the credit of Congress 'alone' in Freedom-movement.

'Congress was a special purpose vehicle for Indian Freedom, not constituted with a single ideology......', Shah added.

"That's the reason Mahatma Gandhi immediately after the independence said that Congress should be broken down.... "bahut chatur baniya tha wo... usko malum tha keya hone wala hay" (he was sharp diplomat, knew what is going to happen", said Shah.

"Mahatma Gandhi said this because Congress did not have any ideology to run after the Independence... neither a party based on a particular decision / ideology. It had not adapted any policy to run the country after independence....but BJP was later formed with a clear policy.........we have no confusion regarding who is anti-nationalist if someone says at JNU that we want country's division.....", said Shah.

Amit Shah was comparing present-Congress and BJP's policy and trying to justify his own party more connected with actual Congress's ideology that loves the Nation.

"That Congress was fully patriotic people we do not have doubt on that and Congress wanted  to remake the country...it's BJP which is following the ideology", said Shah.

However Tripura Congress has conducted a 4 hours damnation at Agartala opposing Amit Shah's comment.

Surprisingly, on the background of the protest, Birjit Sinha in the press conference during addressing the media asked his co-mates "what Shah said.."... and his co-mate replied "Chatur Baniya..." and Sinha proceeded.
