AGARTALA, June 7 (TIWN): Rs. 711 crores 48 lakhs 63 thousand rupees were sanctioned in the current financial year already for Tripura MGNREGA projects, but till day 46 blocks left without work out of total 58 blocks in the state. The 12 blocks where the works have been done the numbers are also very less raising the doubts further about the corrupt practices of the state RD Dept with Teliamura : 1 day completion of work, Dukli-10 days, Tulashikhar-4 days, Ambassa-10 days, Durga Chowmuhani-6 days, Ganganagar-9 days, Kumarghat-10 days, Hrishyamukh-17 days, Bishalgarh-10 days, Kalachara-8 days, Kadamtala-17 days, Damchara-10 days

. With this unsatisfactory figures reported from Tripura, Central Govt has already expressed concerns about the utilization of central funds and on regular video conferencing the Principal Secretary GSG Ayyangar is asked about the status. The rural job by NREGA working days was an initiative to push the workers in Govt works, but the project aim was reversed due to RD corruptions.

Example of Tripura in RD scam comes in the first row, led the incomplete projects, limited water bodies, loss in domestic production. If NREGA funds could be utilized well, then massive development could be caused across the nation, but in Tripura a person already having a pond, being a false beneficiary of MGNREGA enjoys the central fund showing the 'old pond as new'. Apart from that rich people having MGNREGA job cards are also nothing new for Tripura.

In this condition, Central Govt has decided to track the works by various means as geo-tag, Asset ID creation etc. However, a video conference has been call on Thursday for Tripura on "Research Studies Commissioned under MGNREGA", that is related to the utilization of NREGA funds.

Along with Tripura, Andrapradesh, Chattrishgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Meghalaya, Odisha, Rajastan, Tamil Nadu, Telengana, Tripura, West Bengal, Hariyana, Sikkim and Bihar.

Wage-pending of workers were resolved with the direct beneficiary system had launched and the wages began to felicitate the workers' accounts directly, but in case of Asset creation, Tripura resulted a big zero led the oppositions to raise question, "If highest in mandays why no work development in Tripura"?
