AGARTALA, Jan 4 (TIWN): After 4 years of tensionless days, now once again poll-stresses are hitting the political parties 8 months ahead of Assembly Election. When questions are raising again and again on Tripura's Education quality, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Sunday visited various schools in the Capital City and inspected the buildings and infrastructure there. CM also talked about the science results of 2017 and other issues with the Headmasters of the schools. Throughout the years, CM was not seen to inspect the schools, but a sudden concern of the Chief Minister about the school education system here received however a great response from the media. Manik Sarkar also asked the HMs to complete the incomplete works soon. When Tripura schools are running teacher-less, Education in Tripura has become the most criticized issue.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that in the last year above 20,000 teachers were recruited in Assam. But here in Tripura with Supreme Court's order recently 14,000 vacant posts were announced when 10,323 teachers lost their jobs due to recruitment scandal done by Tripura Govt in last few years.

Among the major schools, where Chief Minister visited were Bijoy Kumar School,  Bani Bidyapith, Rajnagar, Umakanta School,  Netaji school and few others.
