AGARTALA, June 4 (TIWN): Assam Chief Minister completing his 2 day long visit in Tripura, left for his own state Assam on Sunday morning at 9.05's 6E 833 Flight. In the middle a Swachh Bharat Campaigning was conducted at Barjala (Airport road), where Sonowal participated. A mass gathering was observed on the spot amidst high security provided to the CM who was holding a Jharu (broom) on his 2 hands and cleaned Agartala streets. Tripura State Observer Sunil Deodhar accompanied Sonowal with a basket on hand. On the background of his departure, citing example of Modi Govt various missions including Swachh Bharat Mission, Sarbananda Sonowal said, "This is not an era for VIPs... this is Modi Govt's Era. It is EPI era, stands for Every-Person-is-Important, where a Prime Minister also cleans streets and this is called 'Sab-Ka-Sath/ Sab-Ka-Bikas' of equal development.

In the last evening Sonowal, while interacting with Tripura media said, 'I am much Confident that BJP will form the new Govt in 2018 Election in Tripura'. 

'Tomorrow when BJP will make the Govt here state will see what is called development', said Sonowal. '

'Northeast have been honoured by Modi Govt. With the Modi Govt's ruling at Centre the Northeast has been specially benefited. Either railway or waterway as well as National Highway people have been benefited fast here. 5 new National Highways NE got and this is called the sincerity & commitment for development', Sonowal added.

'In internet connectivity, transport connectivity, Indo-Bangla railway......in every sectors there are changes', said CM.

However, asking about alliance Sonowal said that it will discussed later and everything is possible in politics, but our target is development.

Later Sonowal was asked by media when he will visit Tripura again & he said his desire is to come every month.

As Election Commitment Sonowal repeated about 7th Pay Commission's implementation once BJP comes in power and also called the young generation to respond to BJP. 

In Sonowal's 2 day long visit most remarkable was his offering prayers to Udaipur's Ma Tripura Sundari and his vegetarian lunch which he took at Udaipur in a house. After 'puja' sitting at VIP room, Sonowal addressing the media here said, "I prayed for betterment of the state and people's growth and prosperity. People, youths here are capable to do many things but due to long ruling of CPI-M party the pathetic condition of the state is now well known".

However, asking Sonowal when he is coming back he said, 'My desire is to come every month and I love Tripura so much now. So my visit will be frequent'.
