AGARTALA, May 28 (TIWN): Anuara’s death caused various candle march, silent rally, overnight protests in the capital city but Anuara has remained just as a petitioner who is still waiting for justice. Demanding fast completion of investigation in Anuara Choudhury’s murder case and protesting back Police’s lodging FIR against Trinamool Chatra Parishad (TMCP) leaders, TMCP on Sunday staged a 2 hour long silent demonstration in front of Gandhi statue at Secretariat. It was on may-25, that seeking reason behind Chief Minister’s silence in Anuara murder case, TMCP members stopped CM’s vehicle asking him to go back. CM also went back to home without facing the protest, but one woman constable lodged FIR against police alleging that they assaulted a woman police official. Trinamool youths challenging police said that it’s not possible for police to prove that as nobody can show any such kind of footage. Moreover, TMCP members accused police for attacking them again and again.

One Trinamool woman activist named Ashmita Debnath was seriously injured in the clash with police on May-19 when they were protesting  at Health Dept demanding the arrest of the doctors.

However, protesting against Police's FIR against Tripura Trianamool Chatra Parishad, the activists have sat in a 2 hours long silent demonstration from 12 PM to 2 PM infront of Secretariat's Gandhi statue on Sunday. Alleging the FIR as based on false accusation that Trinamool Chatra Parshad protesters assaulted women police force of the state, Prasad said, 'If anybody can show a footage  of the incident when a woman constable was assulted then we will accept everything & I'm challenging no media friend can also do that'.

Question also raised, whereas TMCP male activists was protesting, showing agitation in front of Chief Minister's vehicle, was it necessary to send women police personnel amidst protest roars ?

Trinamool Youth Activists further demanded arrest of the doctors issued Anuara's death certificate.

However, the Chief Minister of the state Manik Sarkar being the Home Minister too, has not given any objection about police forces wrong doing even after bundles of allegations raised by every sections of the people.

Earlier, Anuara's case was under Section-702, but after the forensic report came, then the case was moved into-302 IPC. That raised question on GB Hospitals' doctors role who without any treatment said that she died out of Heart attack. But quite surprising, police is utter silent and sympathetic towards the GB hospital doctors. Is police waiting for further road blockade, agitations ?

Manik Sarkar led paralyzed Police Force's role is under heavy scanner that led Anuara's father to take steps against the women police force who tried their best to dump the case under the file just because Anuara's uncle Nur Amhed is DYFI leader.

Anuara's father Abdulla Amin further constantly alleged that Anuara's uncle Jakir Hossain's son Sani Aktar had raped her and later she was beaten by her family members which killed her pathetically.
