AGARTALA, May 18 (TIWN): 4 Express trains, all the local trains and freight trains remained paused after Tripura opposition Congress called for a 12 hrs strike.

The rail service was halted by youth congress members across the state and passengers were in much trouble while the strike restrictions were imposed upon the railways too.

Eventhough state govt has opposed the strike, but Congress strike could not be halted, TIWN reported from Agartala Railway Station.

Tripura has now 4 express trains, freight trains and other local trains but the whole service was reportedly paralyzed on Thursday.
