AGARTALA, May 16 (TIWN): In an attempt to survey the demand for 7th pay commission in Tripura & to expose CPI-M's false claims about Govt-Employees satisfaction with 4th pay commission, state BJP on Tuesday has kicked off 'Signature Campaigning' for all Govt employees. BJP National President of Minority Morcha Abdul Rasheed Ansari who arrived in state on Monday as a part of Tripura BJP's first state level convention and to strengthen minority vote banks, has inaugurated the signature campaigning in the presence of other BJP members. A huge response was received from the employees, pensioners in support of 7th pay commission, when the price hike have hit the market already. This campaign will also reveal, whereas the Govt Employees and Pensioners are actually happy in the left front era with the one-third of the central govt pay scale or not.

It was on May-10 that reacting on Goutam Das’s comment following Amit Shah's visit that 'BJP’s election promise about 7th pay commission is bogus', BJP had announced about ‘Signature Campaigning’ for all the Govt Employees in support of 7th Pay Commission.

As per the campaigning motto all the Govt Employees of the state will be asked to sign if they want 7th pay commission to be implemented in Tripura, BJP State Observer said.

‘I had promised the employees that if BJP comes in power, then within 6 months 7th Pay Commission will be implemented, then State President Biplab Deb after discussing with the Central Govt announced it with 3 months, but new circulation has come that after the first cabinet meeting the 7th pay commission will be implemented.

CPI-M spokesperson Goutam Das before a week citing example of Congress era said, “In Congress Era P Chidambaram campaigned in Tripura about various salary hike issues and pay commissions’ implementation but after the election was over then CPI-M Ministers met him and asked about pay commission, but he didn’t fulfill our demands. In the same manner BJP will also not implement pay commission… all these are just for coming in power”.

However, BJP's signature campaigning is to turn heavy upon CPI-M as 1.5 lakhs of state govt employees vote bank really important to face the battle of 2018 Assembly Election. Tripura Govt didn't implement any Pay-Commission after 4th Pay-Commission.
