AGARTALA, May 10 (TIWN): Congress MLA Ratan Lal Nath on Tuesday alleged that left front Govt always targets the poor people for their election funds as they are the hapless people of the society, whereas urban people are hard be fooled.

In PMAY scheme also Tripura Govt targeted the poor people under Gramin Awash Yojna, whereas in urban bodies the govt didn’t create any issue with the direct beneficiary, claimed Nath.

“In the PMAY scheme money is given in 3 installments : 1st installment 48, 560 2nd installment : 50,000, 3rd installment :31,540 totaling 1.30 rupees. But in the 3rd installment Rs. 18,460/- is cut by the Govt saying it will provide tin with that amount, whereas in case of brick, cement the govt is unready to help”, said Nath.

“Most interestingly,  this facility has given by state govt only for villagers whereas in urban bodies public are more alert about corruptions and frequently raise questions. This is how the Communist targets the poor”, said Nath.

He further mentioned about Chit fund scams and other issues which looted the poor people’s money.
