AGARTALA, May 4 (TIWN): Tripura Assembly Election-2018's battleground have been started with clashes among youth leaders from CPI-M and BJP creating much tension among the common people. In last 48 hours the political tensions have been emerged to a great extend with the continuous blame games of political leaders on top. However, question raising from various sections of people, why this sudden Pre-Poll violence, when the Assembly Election is atleast 8 months away. Opposition BJP has targeted Chief Minister Manik Sarkar for his May-Day speech and to motivate the CPI-M activists towards violence. However, CM on that day basically targeted US and relating US's tie ups with BJP led Central Govt, he blasted BJP activists across Tripura as well as other states. CM said clearly that links with US will destroy the peace of the country and the poor people will have no right if such a govt comes in Power here.

"Come, Fight back them all together jointly", said CM. Question raises, what did CM mean by this statement ? Sarkar also asked the people to come out of home and stop the Capitalist's entrance here.

BJP has pointed out CM's statement and alleged after this statement on May 1 chronologically such bad incidents are happening in Tripura.

However, after these incidents and the tensions erupted in last 48 hours Chief Minister is silent yet. Relating CM's silence with pre-poll violence BJP leader Ashok Sinha said, " the incidents were chronological with proofs of many BJP supporters are admitted in hospital right now. 'Kamalpur's Paritosh Pal, Suryamaninagar's Sushanta Ch. Bhowmik are the victims who eventhough lodged FIR by mentioning the attackers names but no action was taken in this regard. CPI-M also threw stones at BJP rally".

Referring 2013's election post-violence issues, Sinha said, "The pattern of Manik Sarkar led violence was recorded in 2013. During 7 day of violence CM was silent, whereas when situation cooled down then CM stated on behalf of peace-maintenance. As he is also the Home Minister, it's his duty to call for peace right now".

However, after CM's comment about 'CPI-M being the 3rd child of goat' this 2017's May-Day's comment has become the universal weapon for state BJP to hit CM. However, in the middle at Northeast summit CM delivered another speech that India behaves with neighboring countries as 'Big Brother', which led Trinamool, Congress, BJP to seal Manik Sarkar as an 'Anti-Nationalist'.

Now it's to be seen, whether being the Home Minister he would call for peace or enjoy the violence where both party members were reportedly injured.
