UDAIPUR, May 3 (TIWN): Lack of quality in Education was multiple times proven in state Tripura ruled by Communist since 24 years, which was fueled with the latest 10,323 teachers' recruitment scandal exposed. But yet Tripura Chief Minister attempted to prove his state's Education Quality is the best one in whole country, by comparing it with Central's budget on Wednesday. In a programme held at Udaipur, on the inauguration ceremony of Matabari English Medium School, Manik Sarkar said, "Whereas Central Govt keeps its 3 % of budget for Education, we spend 21 % of our budget for Education, because we believe that Education is very necessary for the society". "We have everything now and in compare to our times infrastructure have been developed a lot. We have IT infrastructure, Engineering Colleges, schools across the rural, town areas", CM said. However he was silent about the increasing dropouts in state, mid-day-meal corruptions and scandals of recruitment policy.

Tripura's 147 schools have been recorded for irregular supply of mid day meals to students resulting around 3.5 thousand dropouts recently.

In 2017 another TET examination was held but reportedly they will be appointed on fixed salary basis. Proving once again Tripura left front govt is not friend of all the unemployed youths, a major scam in TET Examination also came out when the govt deprived 292 TET qualified candidates of 2016-17. When schools are running teacherless, to prove CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar’s comment that good marks can not make good teachers’, Tripura Govt against 821 vacant posts advertized in daily, selected only 529 candidates, whereas 1200 candidates already qualified TET. Thus 292 posts are left vacant amidst plenty of qualified teachers who have B.Ed as well as passed TET in last year.

When Central Govt is providing the 100 % salary of the teachers' but state is giving one 3rd of it for the first 5 years and then less than half salary in compare to the central scale while paying in regular employees.

Along with CM Minister Ratan Chakraborty, MLA Madhab Saha, Gomati Dist DM Ravel Hemedra Kumar and other Govt officials remained present on the occasion.
