DHARMANAGAR, May 3 (TIWN): Police have recovered the CCTV footage showing 2 miscreants' movement inside a bank in Northern Tripura at Dharmanagar which was looted on Tuesday. 2 persons have been seen inside the bank in that footage, whereas one of them was covering his face with full face cover mask. However, the persons are yet to identify and reportedly police is investigating the case. The bank looting incident was reported from Dharmanagar Bagbasa on Tuesday. Reportedly, on Monday night when heavy storm came, some miscreants entered the bank and also tried to burnt machines including CCTV cameras. CCTV camera has successfully recorded the miscreants' movement although they yet to be identified. Increasing attacks upon State Banks are reporting continuously from North Tripura. Earlier at Panisagar State Bank's main branch was looted, amidst high security.
This time Dharmanagar PS OC Subrata Chakraborty's negligence was allegedly responsible for the robbery as the incident took place in a hand's distance with Bagbasa outpost under control of the mentioned OC.
Bank looting has become a common tension in various corners of Tripura, with bundles of reporting was done with the same issue in last few months.
Recently at Panisagar, Dharmanagar similar incidents took place in state bank.

On August 19, 2017 A.D Nagar police after a long investigation detained 3 robbers from Churraibari related to the theft case of looting ATM machine from Beltali area under A.D.Nagar police station on Tuesday mid-night. Along with the thieves the ATM machine is also recovered from Churraibari.
Last year at Agartala 2 thieves had looted a person's whole deposited money in broad day light by injuring him and his daughter who were going in a bike.
Apart from that ATM looting has been a common crime here in Tripura, where in maximum cases police failed to identify the miscreants. Such incidents also raises question on the security of the town areas in state, resulting increasing theft cases, robberies in houses also.
