AGARTALA, May 2 (TIWN): Demanding 7th Pay Commission with separate 22 more demands, Tripura Trinamool leaders led by President MLA Asish Saha and MLA Sudip Barman to meet the Chief Secretary Sanjib Ranjan on Wednesday.
A deputation will be placed with 23 points of demands including Jute Mill, MGNREGA, corruption in the name of walk-in-interview, tea garden workers' demands etc.
In a press meet led by Tripura TMC Trade Unions Congress President Samar Roy, Biplab Kar, Vice President other members as Chandan Nath Swapan Saha said that demanding Pay Commission of Central Govt's 7th Pay Commission Tripura Trinamool to place deputation before the Chief Secretary on May 3 lead by Trinamool President MLA Asish Saha and MLA Sudip Barman.
"We have 23 demands including salary issues, Jutemill workers, various demands of footpath hawkers, tea workers. Tripura Govt eventhough says that it is with the poor people by its claims are quite artificial", said Samar Roy at Trinamool Bhawan on Sunday. Their demand will also include the money return issue of the Chit Fund victims in state Tripura. However, when already Pay and Pay Revision Committee has already been set, then how far their demand will keep value, eventhough Chief political leaders are reportedly meeting the Chief Secretary.
