AGARTALA, April 11 (TIWN): One and only Cancer palliative Centre at Kailshahar left paralyzed at Kailashahar.

Reportedly, for the sake of cancer patients’ proper care and their last stage’s care, a palliative centre was opened at Kailashar Dist hospital.

However, whereas the building construction began  in 2011, but till day it remained non-functional.

Moreover, the number of cancer patients are not less at Kailashahar. In this condition the cancer hospital would be much helpful.

Whereas state govt failed to utilize the central funds, such incomplete buildings irk resentments.

In 2007,the then District Magistrate Soumyogupta had sanctioned Rs. 25 lakhs for this cancer centre. In 2012 even though the building was completed but the centre officially never started.

Many times the CMO was told by the common people, but all seems without any effect so far.
