AGARTALA, April 10 (TIWN): IPS Akhil Kumar Shukla has been appointed as the New Director General of Police (DGP) NE state Tripura.

Before he joined K Nagraj was the DGP in Tripura. However, on Monday the new DGP has taken charge.

A.K.Shukla is an IPS of 1986 batch for Tripura cadre.
