TMC MLA demands unemployment-allowance in Tripura

AGARTALA, March 30 (TIWN): Tripura Trinamool President Asish Saha has demanded ‘unemployment allowances’ to be implemented in Tripura.
‘Unemployment allowance has been the decade long demand placed before Tripura CPI-M Govt. But even after more than 7 lakhs of unemployed youths, Tripura Govt has not implemented it’, Saha told TIWN.
The issue has once again come out after SC cancelled state’s 10,323 teachers’ job recruited by state govt of Tripura. The case was already lost by state govt at High Court on May 7, 2014 but challenging High Court’s order Tripura Govt has reappealed in SC and it was Wednesday that SC has effected on the High Court’s order.
Tripura’s total unemployed youths number is 7,19,264.
