AGARTALA, March 29 (TIWN Exclusive): It is the arrogance of Manik Sarkar and CPI-M led Govt that brought the downfall of state govt recruited 10323 teachers - Post Graduate, Graduate and Under Graduate." Because of the corruption of Manik Sarkar & Co Hon'ble Supreme Court today dismissed the jobs of 10323 teachers jobs upholding the Tripura High Court's judgement of 7th May 2014. We will very soon file Writ Petition in the High Court demanding CBI probe against Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and other corrupt officials , who are the culprits of the irregularities involved in the recruitment of these teachers' jobs," said State BJP President Biplab Kumar Deb. Talking exclusively to TIWN over phone on Wednesday night Biplab Deb said ," It is due to the irregularities and corruption Manik Sarkar led CPI-M govt the fate of the 10323 teachers are now at stake although these teachers are not at all guilty. " Biplab Deb also said ," Our (BJP) national leaders have already been informed and accordingly our leaders will take further steps. "

State BJP will start massive agitation across the state demanding resignation of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and stringent punishment of those corrupt Ministers and  officials because of whom 10323 teachers were recruited illegally denying the Centre's guidelines time to time, said Deb.

Speaking exclusively to TIWN Biplab Deb further said  ," If the Chief Minister of Haryana Om Prakash Chautala and his son are now behind the bars why not Chief Manik Sarkar and Education Minister  Tapan Chakraborty !" He said  the Chief Minister of Haryana state was found guilty along with his son due to gross irregularities, the same holds true for Manik Sarkar and Tapan Chakraborty.

Biplab Deb categorically said ," We have sympathy towards those teachers whose jobs have been terminated by the Division Bench of the  Supreme Court. But we can't do anything in this case as all are abide by the laws of the nation and the Apex Court simply upholds the judgement of Tripura High Court ."

From Biplab Deb's statement it is clear that after the humiliating defeat in the Supreme Court more legal complexities are now bound to grip the so-called Honest(?) Chief Minister Manik Sarkar as BJP is likely to file the writ petition demanding CBI probe against the corrupt ministers and officials involved in the gross irregularities legally proved in 10323 terminated teachers' jobs.

According to 2013 report, the then Chief Secretary of Tripura & former Textile Secretary, current head of Tripura Skill Development Mission S K Panda and former Principal Secretary (Education) Banamali Sinha are the main architects in providing job to the teachers without following the rule of law to make ruling CPI-M and Manik Sarkar happy.

“The minister(s) are the political executives and they have the compulsion of election every five years. To ensure their victory they tend to win the heart of the voters for next success and to balance the system bureaucrats are being appointed for run the welfare government. But in case of job to 10,323 teachers, Panda and Sinha never objected the process of appointment proposed by the ministers rather encouraged it to put the government in trouble,” said a senior officer in the state law department.

Agartala bench of Guwahati High Court in 2010, in the judgment of a case had filed by some deprived teachers directed the state government to provide job to the qualified aspirants. Also asked the state government in all future appointment, they should follow transparency and proper method of selection but Mr Panda willfully flout it to achieve undue favour from the government even after the retirement.

“Mr Panda knows it well that CPM party will pay back his slavery after his retirement from the service in this year like others. He was also confirmed the fall out of appointment without proper interview and selection but never objected because he wanted to remain in Chair as Chief Secretary and by this time to earn otherwise with his Marathi corrupt friends,” maintained the officer.

According to him, after 2010 High Court judgment, Law Secretary D M Jamatia categorically advised the government to conduct proper interview and method of standard selection for teachers appointment but Chief Minister did not agree, as he has reportedly been assured by Mr Panda.

However, when the order of cancelation of 10,323 teachers job was came from High Court of Tripura in May 2014, both Mr Panda and Mr Sinha was found busy to convince the council of ministers that the job will be retained in the apex court.

It is to be mentioned here that five-time Haryana chief minister Om Prakash Chautala and his son Ajay Chautala were on  sentenced to 10 years in prison after being found guilty of corruption in a teacher recruitment in Haryana.

Special CBI judge Vinod Kumar showed no leniency to 78-year-old Chautala and his 51-year-old son as he handed the punishment. The court in that particular case had held father and son along with 53 others guilty of illegally recruiting 3,206 teachers in the state in 2000.
