TIWN March 24, 2017

AGARTALA, March 24 (TIWN): CPI-M MP Jiten Choudhury would never visit Chittamara village, unless the election was nearby and there was no contest with newly emerged party BJP, claims BJP Vice President Subal Bhowmik following Jiten Choudhury's badmouthing against BJP, when BJP members donated Rs. 50,000 per deceased families and Rs. 15,000 per wounded people's families. 'What CPI-M has done apart from creating unrest and hatred among the tribals for vote banks? Not only this, using his MP Power Choudhury is playing politics at New Delhi', said Bhowmik. Jiten Choudhury had shared BJP's meeting with Chittamara deceased families and their donation of Rs. 50000 to the families and reacting over the event BJP counter attacked the Ganamukti Parishad leader cum MP Jiten Choudhury who instead of asking the state govt to help the families are busy in bad mouthing against Nation's BSF Jawans. "Is Jiten Choudhury an investigating officer ? Jiten Choudhury almost has submitted a chargesheet in his Facebook account regarding which time, which place, where blood spots were found etc as he knows everything. Who gave him right to give the final judgment? Whatever the incident was it will be investigated but most important is to help the poor families which CPI-M has ended with Rs. 10,000/-. If they want to give they shoulod give 5 lakhs rupees and also a job per family", Bhowmik added.

However, BJP demanding further investigation into the case donated Rs. 50,000/- at Party Office. Reportedly, out of 3 families, 1 family was a CPI-M supporter, but State Govt has donated nothing to them. However, Biplab Deb mentioned that investigation is going on and there will be no flaw into the investigation.

It's worthy to mention here that Jiten Choudhury on March 20, at 11.50 PM had uploaded a picture when BJP leaders were visiting the deceased families and wrote " DOUBLE STANDARD : BJP's Social Media Group and a section of media close to them are active in claiming that the three victims of Chitabari are cattle lifters and offenders upon the BSF. Today BJP leaders are shedding crocodile's tear there and valuing Rs.50,000 against each life? IS NOT IT AN INSULT TO THIS BEREAVED POOR TRIBAL FAMILIES AND DOUBLE STANDARD OF BJP? SHAME ON BJP".

BJP reacting over the uploading of the MP, Subal Bhowmik called him Anti-Nationalist and also asked what CPI-M has given to them? 'Jiten is playing politics rather than real sympathy for the families.
