AGARTALA, March 23 (TIWN): Tripura BJP on Wednesday has celebrated veteran Trianmool leader Ratan Chakraborty's joining in BJP along with 150 TMC members at Agartala party Office. Central BJP Minister of State (Independent Charge) Railways, Rajen Gohain handed over the party flag to him. Chakraborty who was earlier in Congress and later the father of Tripura Trinamool, giving a shock to the voters in state by joining in BJP. When media asked the reason behind his joining in BJP, Chakraborty said, "This has only one reason. After independence only Modi was the first prime minister who looked at Northeast and I feel proud to be a son of Tripura and also I am proud to join in BJP". Topmost leaders as Nitai Choudhury, Sudhansu Ranjan Dhar, Satyanarayan Dey, Manik Kr. Saha, Rajib Samaddar in total 41 leaders joined BJP at the party office. Apart from that more than 100 people joined BJP at the press conference.Chakraborty further warns that a major number of Tripura's opposition MLAs to join BJP soon.

'At Manipur 21 MLAs formed BJP and at Assam BJP won hugely. Now Tripura will also won by BJP in this coming election as a Modi Tsunami to hit the opposition parties", said Chakraborty.

However, once Mamata Banerjee's disciple Ratan Chakraborty was found on Wednesday chanting Modi's name and Biplab Deb 'Amar Rahe' as well as 'Bharat Mata Ki Joy'.

Chakraborty also warned that BJP should not suffer from political infiltration as Congress and Trinamool are suffering due to some bad leaders.

He further mentioned, "I hugely respect Mamata Banerjee and her struggle but the people whom she chosed as TMC leaders were Manik Sarkar's broker'.

It's worthy to mention here that TMC was formed in Tripura just before 8 months and now began to deteriorate.
