AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Radha Mohan Singh has arrived Tripura for some party campaigning and to take notes about various agricultural schemes’ implementation-way as a part of PM Modi’s instruction to visit NE states in every 3 month's gap. In his 2 day long visit the Minister met 2 wounded persons of Udaipur, Gomati District named Joypad Saha, Manik Das who were allegedly attacked by CPI-M members’ before 2 days during a clash occurred among the oppositions. BJP also claimed that both Joypad Saha and Manik Das had joined in BJP from CPI-M recently which led the CPI-M goons to attack upon them.Meeting the BJP victims at GB Hospital, the Minister said, “This is intolerable incident and fully unjustified, also a matter of shame that Tripura’s ruling party is attacking on human rightsâ€.
Minister further said that in future such incidents will be taken seriously.
Along with the Union Minister, BJP State President Biplab Deb remained present there.
Radha Mohan Singh is an Indian politician having affiliations with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Singh was president of BJP's Bihar State unit from 2006 to 2009. He was elected to 11th Lok Sabha, 13th Lok Sabha (1999-2004), 15th Lok Sabha and currently a member of the 16th Lok Sabha (2014-2019), the lower house of the Parliament of India. He represents Purvi Champaran constituency in Bihar state. He was inducted in Narendra Modi led central government as a cabinet minister and currently holds the portfolio of Minister of Agriculture of India.[1] He listed cow protection and better breeding of Indian cows as one of his priorities.
