TIWN March 9, 2017
AGARTALA, March 9 (TIWN): Before leaving the students for 1 day holiday, teachers across Tripura during the assembly time, while wishing the students for upcoming Holi / Rangoli celebration, will tell the students about what to do in Holi and what not to do during Holi.
This practice will be followed in private as well as Govt schools, said source.
However, dos and don’ts are to be followed in state in anyway so that Holi remains just as a medium of exchanging love between people.
Holi is a really enjoyable festival. This is the occasion to have fun with colours and gorge on delicacies. But the riot of colours may seriously harm the skin, eyes and hair.
It is an occasion of fun but not to make it frivolous with immoral practices.
Few steps must be taken to save ownself from chemicals are:
1. To play with natural home made colours.
2. If natural colours are not possible, then ensure a better quality of colours.
3. Use more of red or pink colours which looks good and can easily taken off.
4. Face should be well creamed before and after the play,
5. People can apply thick coating of paint on your nails,
6. Oiling hair & Covering hair is way to get rid of cold and chemicals.
7. While playing, or, even watching the celebration of Holi is great fun, people would not let it be marred by certain unwarranted things.
8. Children should wear various masks so that their eyes remained unaffected.
This year Holi will be conducted on March 13.
