AGARTALA, March 7 (TIWN): 10,323 case is not exceptional, but there are more 156 cases similar which are pending at Supreme Court presently and all are against Tripura Govt. When day after day resentments and demands of the public were neglected by state govt, public knocked the door of justice and a survey says that in maximum cases public's allegation against state govt have proven as true in the High Court. However, few cases which caused major loss for Tripura Govt was further challenged in Supreme Court puting stay orders was against High Court's verdict. However, in important cases like DA, Promotion case already all other states have been defeated at Supreme Court. Thus the persons who have gone to retirement also they will get the 31 % DA since 1/1/2009 to 27/8/2011, in 3 installments. So the first installment will be started from 1/7/2016, if the case is lost by Tripura Govt. But if 10,323 case is lost it will devastate all the families.

Atleast 1678 cases in Tripura High Court and 157 cases at the Supreme Court totaling 1835 cases are pending against the Tripura Govt. This Law Dept of Tripura was bound to reveal the data in the Assembly when one Congress MLA Ratan Lal Nath placed the question before the Law Dept. Replying the question raised by Nath, Law Dept. led by Minister Tapan Chakraborty said, ".presently at High Court there are 1678 cases and 157 cases at Supreme Court are under trial".

However, in the year 2015 there were 639 cases at High Court and 93 cases at Supreme Court had came under trail. In the year 2016 the number of cases at High Court was 1172 and at Supreme Court was 68.

The figure shows a up of filing of cases and the number of petitioners who were allegedly deprived by the ruling party. It was the cases of 10,323 teachers verdict by the then Chief Justice Dipak Gupta, which motivated a section of young stars to understanding Right to Information and knock the door of justice.

Another data shows a chronological up of crimes from 2014-2016 at various courts of Tripura. Eventhough Tripura's DGP KNagraj claimed recently the crime is decreasing but the reply of Law Dept revealed a different picture. However, there was a fall of crime rate in 2015, but in 2016 it went up again.

This shows the resentment of public against the ruling govt which  is reigning in Tripura since 24 years. There are only 36 lakhs of population in Tripura and there are 1678 petitioners who went against the ruling Govt.

Apart from that Tripura Govt challenging HC's verdicts filed many cases at Supreme Court among which the SC / ST promotion case and 10,323 cases are mostly discussed.

Tripura High Court was set up in 2013, just before 3 years and in this condition already around 2000 cases are pending there, whereas many received the final hearing.
