UDAIPUR, March 3 (TIWN): On Thursday, the Ld. JM 1st Class Court No. 03, Udaipur Gomati Tripura, has convicted one person namely Sri Swapan Debnath (34) S/O Lt. Lal Mohan Debnath, of Ichachara Madyapara, PS KKB, U/S 279/337 IPC.

On 24-04-2014 KKB PS Case No. 2014KKB061 U/S- 279/338 IPC was registered on the compliant of one Sri Amar Ch. Das S/O Lt. Bani Kanta Das of No. 02 Bipin Nagar Colony, PS KKB; against the driver of vehicle B/No.TR-03-4430 (Auto Rickshaw) for causing injury by rush and negligent driving on 16-04-2014 at about 1900 hrs, at Basanta Nagar(Near Iron bridge) , during proceeding from Kakraban to Tulamura , under KKB PS. As a result son of complainant and 01 other person received grievous injury on their persons.

After investigation I.O of the case SI Chitta Rn. Das filed Charge-sheet on 28-06-2014 vide KKB PS C/S No. 66/2014, U/S 279/338 IPC against the driver of offending vehicle namely Sri Swapan Debnath (34) S/O Lt. Lal Mohan Debnath, of Ichachara Madyapara, PS KKB

The trial Court on appreciation of evidence found the accused person namely Sri Swapan Debnath is guilty U/S 279/337 IPC and sentenced him to pay fine of Rs-1000/- only for commission of the offence U/S-279 IPC and to pay a fine of Rs-500/- only for commission of offence U/S-337 IPC in default of payment of the fine, to undergo SI for one month.
