AGARTALA, March 1 (TIWN): CPI-M's organized corruption deprived Tripura of Rs. 6000 crores projects related to Ayurvedic Hospital and Health Service Development after the state govt failed to send any audit report to the Centre under AYUSH, said Union Minister for State AYUSH Shripad Naik on Wednesday at BJP Head Quarter at Krishnanagar. While addressing the press, Naik said, "Whereas Tripura Govt always pinches the Central Govt. saying that it is not allocating funds properly, in reality this Govt has no intention for development. This is wrong to blame accuse the Centre without any reason, whereas Central Govt is pushing Tripura Govt to jointly take a 14 crores project for Ayush hospitals where the state govt has to spend only 10 %. But till day the Govt gave no response to Centre's call for this 90 : 10 project. On the other hand at Shillong 2 institutes have already set up : One Ayurvedic Institution and another is of Homeopathic institution".

"Tripura Govt lacks so much of co-operative mentality that Centre is unable to push the ball of development. In 2015-16 total 14, 000 was allocated, and just under Ayush total 4000 crores were allocated. But Tripura Govt till day didn't send any utilization certificate. But, without utilization certificate no fund will be allocated further", said Naik.

The Minister further criticized the state govt for its attitude towards other political parties. He also referred his visit at other places of Tripura where whole day intentionally the power was cut. "With such revengeful mentality no state can never progress", Naik added.

"The State-Centre would jointly work for the Country's development as development is the first priority but no the politics", Naik said.

Naik also expressed dissatisfaction over the negligence of Ayurvedic medical science in Tripura.

"We are planning for 8 Ayush hospitals for 8 districts, but due to the silence of Tripura Govt, it has remained as a dream project", added Naik.

Shripad Naik has arrived Tripura on Tuesday in a two day long visit. From Agartala Airport he directly went to Kailashahar to visit the Ayush Hospital there.

Union Minister undertook a visit at Dharmanagar on Tuesday, followed  by Wednesday's visit at Tripura Sundari temple, Gomati Ayush Hospital at Udaipur and from there he arrived at State Ayurvedic Hospital, Agartala. At 4 PM he called a press meet announced about a meeting with Tripura Health Minister Badal Choudhury after few hours.
