AGARTALA, March 1 (TIWN): Assembly Election is after one year, but the political competitions in Tripura have raised so high that amidst Board Examinations also, there is no mercy from sound pollution across the state. This sound pollution presently reported from the party gatherings, revolutionary talks in high-pitched volume leaving no peace for the students. With a surprise when Class -12 Examination will start from Thursday, CPI-M's movement with 5 charters of points has begun on Wednesday. CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar said that there will be atleast 500 programmes in this one months in average 17 programmes per day. Out of 8 Districts Tripura's 17 party programmes in a single day may not only hit the Examination preparation for students, but also may create chaos during examinations season. This was only CPI-M but Cong, Trinamool, BJP are not lagging far behind than CPI-M. Tripura Pollution Control Board is also unable to control the extreme noise.

The competition has went so high that there is hardly any time when political teachers are not giving lectures to the masses standing at a corner of the road.

However, this is not the first time that parties accused of making noise in exam season but it has been seen that every year there are some disruption in the Board Examination. Time will be more tough for the candidates in 2018 as it will be the Assembly Election year.

According to the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000, as amended in 2012, the noise level at market places between 6am to 10pm should be below 65 dB. However, a relaxation of 10 dB is also given under rule 5(4) of the same taking the upper limit to 75 dB for special occasions. Loudspeakers are not allowed after 10pm.

But it has been seen that political, religious all kinds of freedom has been given now ahead of Election-2018.

From example on Tuesday when all the Minister were in the Assembly, CPI-M led DYFI, various unions under Banks, TYF, CITU were busy in party propagandas. Question raises if this is the condition of 2017, what will happen on 2018?
