AGARTALA, Feb 28 (TIWN): Out of total 9 days kept for Tripura Assembly session-2017, the 7 day has kicked off at the Assembly.
The budget was already placed in the Assembly on Feb 20 by Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha.
Following the budget there had been much debates in the Assembly about various fund allocations by the state Govt for the year 2017-18.
During 2017-18, computerized Treasury Operation System will be integrated with E-kuber (Core Banking Soultion of RBI) for making direct payment to Payee’s Account.
CM Manik Sarkar said in the Assembly that Geo Tracking will be given focus. Bhnaulal Saha declared about 5 new pension schemes for Folk Artists, Carpenters, Blacksmiths, Potters and Horijons (having no govt employee) belonging to SC, at a monthly rate of Rs. 700/- per beneficiary’.
State Finance Minister refused to implement 7th Pay Commission, proposed revised pay structure within Rs. 600 crores.
