AGARTALA, Feb 27 (TIWN): Assembly heated up with Pankaj Chakraborty's comment about media as toilet paper.

From opposition to ruling part all criticized Chakraborty regarding his comment.

Law Minister signaled for his arrest and said, legal actions should be taken against him. However, opposition further asked about delaying of legal action against him.

It's worthy to mention here that senior deputy magistrate of Khowai district Pankaj Chakraborty recently made some posts on Facebook, insulting Mamata Banerjee and her party men.

According to the official, the government has taken an initiative recently to conduct an inquiry on the FB post later after which an appropriate step would be taken by the government against the TCS officer Pankaj Chakroborty. The official claimed that Chakroborty being a TCS officer had violated the service conduct rules and disrespected his chair.

Besides, most surprisingly when the issue of FB post against Mamata Banarjee, posted by Chakroborty was reported in the media, he slammed the newspapers terming them as 'toilet papers' and made some derogatory comments against journalists of the state.
