Earlier Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu had said that Sabroom railway station in Tripura would be of international standard due to its strategic location.

The Udaipur-Sabroom root to be completed by 2019, said Prabhu.

The cost of the project will be Rs. 1200 crores.
