AGARTALA, Feb 22 (TIWN): A massive chaos hit Tripura Assembly 4th day when CPI-M MLA Sudhan Das questioned about the illegal construction of Trinamool Bhawan at Agartala’s Jackson gate. In the last year, the Trinamool Bhawan was inaugurated by West Bengal Trinamool leader Mukul Roy, which has been noticed by Agartala Municipal Council as ‘illegal’. Trinamool MLA Asish Saha denied the claim of CPI-M MLA saying that he is the owner of the land. However, supporting Asish Saha Congress MLA Gopal Roy and Ratan Lal Nath stressed about various illegal construction of CPI-M Party offices in Tripura. A huge chaos had created at the Assembly and when Urban Development Minister Manik Dey stoop up to speak, Ratan Lal Nath shut his mouth. When speaker asked the opposition MLAs to behave accordingly and asked Gopal Roy to go back to his seat, Roy replies, “Please do not play your old radio. Whenever I stand up you make me to seat”.

The issue was raised when Asish Saha asked what actions the Govt is taking to upgrade the Children Park and to extend its spaces for children. Then MLA Sudhan Das stressed the issue of illegal construction of TMC Bhawan.

It’s worthy to mention here that AMC Mayor Prafulljit Sinha has noticed TMC that their newly constructed TMC Bhawan is fully illegally constructed. This house was made violating the rules and regulations of Municipality”.

Talking to TIWN, MLA Asish Saha in this regard in the background of the issue he said, “Nobody can break down TMC house from its location, as it’s fully legally made. Mayor Prafullajit is acting as the CPI-M psychopath”.

The land was given by Ashish Saha, but according to AMC data, in total 8 persons are the owner of the land. They are : Prabir Kanti Roy, Pranab Kanti Roy, Partha Roy, Sathi Roy, Rakhi Roy, Hemprabha Roy, Subal Bhowmik and Ashish Saha.

A day after the Tripura Trinamool Bhawan was inaugurated by senior party leader Mukul Roy, the mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation; Dr. Prafulla Jit Sinha passed demotion orders for it. The mayor, Sinha alleged that the construction was illegal, as a result of which the corporation has ordered demolition of the Trinamool party office.
