AGARTALA, Feb 22 (TIWN): CPI-M honchos like Manik Sarkar’s dislike for Modi’s demonetization directly implies penchant for black money to fill party coffers. Demonetization has spiked up the e-banking in India, which was never observed earlier. During the one day visit in Tripura as a part of inspiring the people towards less-cash move, Union Minister of State, Heavy Industries & Public Enterprise, Govt. of India Babul Supriya said that only 1 % Indians were using Internet banking, which has been spiked up with the demonetization led by BJP Govt. Claiming that without digitalization prosperity will not come in India, Supriya said, “… it’s the time to inspiring the society to go Digital Digitalization which connects the people across world is the way to prosperity”. “Let make India the smartest country without enough smart phones”, urged the Minister. In his speech Union Minister of State Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Pratap Rudy said from 25th December the Govt has begun the lucky draw contest and it will go upto April. Villages also so go less-cash soon".

Later in a press conference, the Rudy said, “Banking service will be increased in Tripura villages too very soon”.

Claiming BJP will win the 2018’s Assembly Election, Rudy said, PM Modi is taking actions without much political gains. 2 Minister of the Central Govt thus have been order to visit here just for the sake of promoting digi-dhan.

A recent data revealed that the Digital India dream as visualized by the Indian Government may become a full-fledged reality sooner than not if collaborative efforts are taken in the right direction. Considering that 90 percent of the transactions in the country are predominantly in cash, powerful efforts will be required to champion this change.

Asserting that a digital move is possible without internet too Babul Supriya  said, “Earlier it was thought that only internet and smart phone are parts of digital economy but it’s not true. Dial *99# from one’s mobile handset and access one’s bank account details. No internet is required. The service works across all GSM service providers and handsets. As of now, 51 banks are offering this Mobile Banking service”.

However, Tripura’s mobile phone users number has been extended upto 30 lakhs out of its 36 lakhs of population. The way the young stars are moving towards E-economy the officials are much hopefull about states growth in Digi-Mission.
