AGARTALA, Feb 19 (TIWN): Receiving much complaints from Tripura CPI-M Govt against the Central Govt during his one day visit in Tripura, the Central Health Minister J P Nadda told Tripura Health Minister Badal Choudhury not to issue with nonissues and hold talks with the Centre directly.Badal Choudhury raised a question that why Tripura students are deprived of giving medical entrance exam in Bengali whereas other states including Orissa, Assam students are allowed to write in Bengali.Reacting over Badal Choudhury’s claim, Nadda said, ‘Before few days the Central Govt asked all the states to choose the option of language. On that time Assam and Orissa selected the language option with Bengali but Tripura didn’t give any response. So now the Govt is again appealing to see the other state’s facilities, but you are little late in the race. However, it can be taken under consideration and we can discuss”.

“This is not the issue and don’t make all the non-issues as issues. I’m inviting Tripura Health Minister Badal Choudhury to come to New Delhi and sit in a  meeting with me. Whatever the problem the state is facing, I will listen the whole thing and will surely consider the demand”, added Nadda.

However, Badal Choudhury also gave a positive response to it and most likely he is to visit New Delhi, ‘if’ the CM gives green signal.

It’s worthy to mention here that as a part of vaccination programme the Central Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda on Saturday has administered Rota Virus vaccines to the children of Tripura. In this regard a programme was organized by Nation Health Mission where Nadda himself administered the vaccine to the first child of Tripura. Nadda after launching the programme said, ‘It’s a historical moment and thanks goes to PM Modi for his attention for Eastern India’.

‘I am feeling proud to present here as the first Union Health Minister of India. Fact can’t be denied that the NE region was neglected untill the Modi Govt came at power. But in this state, we are working for the prevention part….as nothing is better than prevention when it comes to health.’, the Minister said.
