AGARTALA, Feb 15 (TIWN): Central Govt’s question over the Education Quality in Tripura once again proven as so ‘true’ when a School Headmaster was found in sound sleep at his chamber at 11.30 AM. The Headmaster has been identified as Bhupesh Debnath of South Deocharra School. Sources said that Debnath is usually is using his chambers as his sleeping den, whereas there are only 4 teachers altogether in the school. None of the teachers or staffs have any urge for study related works, resulting education has become a joke for the school students. On the other hand as a part of SFI goondaraj ahead of election, school students were found doing bicycle rally at Kumarghat amidst heated atmosphere. However, this is not new in Tripura & such activities are day by day increasing in state. But the Dadagiri of SFI, DYFI leaders have no end. When media raised question, DYFI supremo Amal Chkarabory, brother of MGNREGA scamster Bimal Chakraborty said, “Why media raise such question ? The students do not have benches, infrastructure ? Will not they protest ?”. His question is quite surprising and also raised laughter, as already the CPI-M Govt is in power and instead of NSUI, AVP the school-college students are holding the banners of SFI only.

Moreover, Chakraborty compared the SFI leaders with freedom fighters as Bhagat Sing too.

If Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty and Chief Minister Manik Sarkar who are boosting about 97 % literacy rate, give a surprise visit in rural schools; then they will see the actual situation over there.

Recently another incident has brought a big question mark when a teacher at Agartala brought serious brain injuries to a girl student.Giving a shock to the Right To Education Era, a 12 years girl student named Niharika Biswash was beaten to serious injuries on Friday by a school teacher.

The matter came to known when the opposition BJP exposed the incident and protested in the school but SFI is still now silent regarding this incident.

The opposition parties in Tripura also not at all concerned about these issues; neither they raised question over the day time campaigning of CPI-M through school students.
