AGARTALA, Feb 14 (TIWN): Once again the bail appeal of 3 Manipuri Communist militants was expelled as the Delhi Court on Monday extended the judicial custody of suspected Kangleipak Communist Party (Poirei Meitei) militant Khoirom Ranjit and two others till February 27. Earlier, the court on Jan 31st, extended the judicial custody of suspected KCP (Poirei Meitei) militant Khoirom Ranjit and others till February 13. A source said that Central Govt has taken special initiative to minimize the terror attacks and abolish terrorism from Northeast. But it has been seen that Tripura’s open checkpost for other Northeast states has increased the chance of violence and has been responsible for the increasing drug smugglings throughout the year. The KCP started with a small number of cadres. However, its strength has grown over the years and presently, it is known to have about 100 cadres. Half of its active cadres are known to possess an array of weapons ranging from AK series rifles, Chinese made grenades and mortars. Surprising but true, even Tripura CM Manik Sarkar also often sympathizes the NE militants groups.

According to CM, the Central Govt is fully responsible for their poverty, resulting they had no other option than committing terrorism.

For Tripura citizens, atleast 3 Northeastern States ask for inner line permits in border check posts, but unfortunately Tripura although many times were attacked by Mizo, Bru terrorists but no steps for security is taken by the state Govt. Also there is no check-post set up yet at Damchara.

Trinamool also recently claimed how China & Indian Communists are stopping India to become powerful with nuclear potentiality. TMC leader Sudip Barman said “Arunachal, Leh & Ladak areas are now trying to occupy by China, but CPI-M is surprisingly silent in this issue”. “In China lines NE states stones China militants are writing their Country’s name”, added Barman.

China is with the ethnic groups Nagaland based NSCN(K), also aligning with groups like Assam based United Liberation Front of Assam-Independent or the ULFA (I), National Democratic Front of Bodoland-Sonbijit or the NDFB (S) and the Manipur based Kanglei Yawol Kunna Lup or the KYKL and others are part of the new formation.

Various Bru militants were nabbed by BSF Jawans, Assam Rifles for multiple times. Moreover,  Bru refugees’ 20 years long residing over Tripura has well connected that terror group with Tripura.

On April 22, two bru terrorist Chief leaders were nabbed by Assam Rifles No-30 btln and Karignaj police named Arnajoy Reang (29) &Dailoram Reang (36). (They were among the head of the terrorist group) Arnajoy Reang was the General Secretary of the Bru-terroristGroup, resident of Ashapara Kanchanpur Refugee camp Tripura, and Dailoram Reang is recognized as the commandant of Katar, area at Dhali Dist. After nabbing them the chief leader’s name has been gathered by police as Rajesh Chorkhi (President, Resident of Mizoram) led by L V Charki.

Around 60 Mizo-Tripura terrorists’ names exposed from them,  also the blueprint of the terror-plan was recovered by Police. In the month of June another Bru terrorist was arrested. Surprisingly in July 1st, Assam Rifles 30th Btn nabbed 3 Bru terrorists from Kalachara, North Tripura. Along with Terrorists, smugglers equally from that groups have been identified from time to time.

In coming days Northeast India may witness massive damages by terror attacks, as already Terror Training centres have been groomed in many parts of Northeast. But Manik Sarkar who ended by claiming that Tripura is a peaceful state, is not at all concerned about the safety of his people. His only concern is his position as Chief Minister !
