Apart from Shishu Mela, flower exhibition has been organized. The Mela along with celebration combines fun with creativity. Among the high points of the Mela are cultural competitions on dance, singing, tabla, 'sit and draw', recitation and others. Around 1500 participants from various areas of South district has taken part in the competition.

Vibrant cultural programme by child artists is scheduled to be performed in the Mela throughout 5 days.

The programme started with the inaugural song performed by the kids of Holy Home Nursery School.

Convener Sukanta Dutta addressed welcome. "Once, people used to hold a misinterpretation regarding the club. For them, club meant to be an indisciplined place. In recent days, Blood Mouth club overcame the misconception", said MLA Pabitra Kar.
