AGARTALA, Jan 31 (TIWN): MP Jiten Choudhury inaugurated 13 days long Industry and Commerce fair at Hapania Ground at Agartala. Industries and Commerce Minister Tapan Chakraborty , MP Jharna Das,MP Sankar Prasad Dutta, Md. Shakhawat Hussain, the Asst. High Commissioner of Bangladesh Visa Office, Director of Industries and Commerce VJ Jenner and others were also present in the occasion. More than 133 stalls were open in the fair.Cultural program were also staged in every evening in the fair.
Modi’s Look East and Act East is baseless and development in various fields still not been seen till today said MP Jiten while delivering his speech.

There is nothing and still a necessity to improve infrastructure to boost the bilateral trade with the neighboring country, MP Jiten Chowdhury said. Better facility in both sides of border which is still missing.

Md. Shakhawat Hussain, the Asst. High Commissioner of Bangladesh Visa Office, Agartala said, there were still need more initiatives to be done to increase trade volume.
