AGARTALA, Jan 30 (TIWN): Minister Manik Dey in a press meet told media that GPRS tracking system under PMAY scheme to launch in Tripura, which once again has proven that BJP’s allegation against the ruling Govt’s corruption is 100 % correct, a BJP statement said on Sunday.
The Central RD Dept. Under Secretary M Rama Krishna has sent a notice to GSG Ayyangar, the RD Principal Secretary under Tripura Govt. asking clarification regarding massive confusion created about PMAY scheme, claimed BJP.
BJP leader Kalyani Roy claimed that the 60 % of the name submitted in the beneficiary list are fake under PMAY scheme in Tripura.
BJP began its own survey and also asked the aspirants to submit their forms in detail at BJP Office, so that they can apply it directly via online. The form can be apply via online but the Govt also taking no initiative to aware the people about PMAY scheme’s opportunities.
It was said in PMAY scheme that “At the slum decadal growth rate of 34%, the slum households are projected to go upto 18 million. 2 million non-slum urban poor households are proposed to be covered under the Mission. Hence, total housing shortage envisaged to be addressed through the new mission is 20 million”.
Without making the common people aware about the scheme beneficiaries were selected as per wish of the CPI-M cadres. On 17th June 2015 the Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave its approval for the launch of “Housing for All by 2022.
