AGARTALA, Jan 23 (TIWN): Trinamool Supremo Mamata Banerjee, Mukul Roy, Sudip Barman, Asish Saha and other members began ‘Quite India Movement’ in the last year, although it failed miserably. However, now Trinamool to kick off ‘Non-Cooperation Movement’ and especially the youths will lead the movement. But question remains about the outcome of the movement, as even after bringing plenty of Tollywood Stars, prominent leaders from WB, the party miserably failed to win the Election. The Non-Cooperation movement will be held on Feb 23rd, but from January 27th to February 10th everyday atleast 5 KM will be walked by Trinamool Youths across Tripura. In the month of August, with an aim to oust the Left Front government in Tripura, the Trinamool Congress also organised "Booth chalo" (march to booth) campaign. On that time Mukul Roy said, "Entire Trinamool leadership in West Bengal would stand behind the Tripura party unit and people to oust CPI-M from power. It was aimed that a government of 'Maa Mati Manush' (mother, earth and people) would be established in Tripura in 2018 assembly polls.

State Trinamool leader Sudip Roy Barman said within one and a half years the entire political scenario in Tripura would change. But after a time when time came all the missions seemed to turn into astray and Trinamool came with poor election results.

It’s worthy to mention here that Tripura’s political scenario is changing faster than anything and ahead of Assembly Election-2018, BJPs popularity is increasing massively, which has concerned CPI-M Melarmath top heads.

After the unpleasant result received from the bi-election for Barjala and Khowai constituency, TMC kicked off a state level meeting at TMC Bhawan, Jackson Gate, Agartala. Sudip Barman accepting the result of bi-election, said to his comrades that it’s true that we have defeated in this election, which we though would be better but the opposition BJP and the ruling CPI-M have successfully confused the mass about Mamata Banerjee’s protest against Demonetization in coordination Anti-Modi parties. Whereas many other parties joined in that demonetization protest but the opposition BJP picked up the exact issue, which would touch the sentiment of the common people’. ‘BJP successfully made the people to misunderstand us as CPI-M’s friends. We newly joined TMC members had dedicated our to fight against CPI-M but now confusion craeted that we blong to CPI-M?’, Barman added.

After TMC and CPI-M walked together doubt raised against TMC’s motive in Tripura, many asked directly the leaders of Trinamool in Tripura, ‘Does Mamata Banerjee only think about West Bengal Votes as she was aligning with CPI-M ahead of Tripura Bi-Election, which has caused major damages to Trinamool here? However, Barman mentioned, “CPI-M is our one chief opponent forever and we have dedicated our lives for it. Defeat CPI-M was our aim since the beginning, which appealed us to become Trinamool”.

Barman also claimed it’s TMC which held many protests in state against the ruling party :

1.     At HC also TMC is fighting,

2.     For joint entrance scam TMC is raising voice,

3.     For Petrol, LPG crisis TMC is protesting,

4.     Unemployment issues are raising by TMC,

5.     Job recruitment, price hike, corruption----all these issues TMC has raised in its 5 months 2 weeks’ lifespan in Tripura.

6. If CM says against Prime Minister it was TMC who protested.

However, Mamata Banerjee also on August 9 at Astabol Filed said that in 1945 August 9, Mahatma Gandhi began his Quite India Movement and on 2016, 9th August TMC began Quite Tripura movement. But in later time the movement failed as an utter failure. Now how far this ‘Non-Cooperation’ movement will work out it’s to be seen.
