AGARTALA, Jan 14 (TIWN): Unbelievable but true, a Government hospital in Tripura remained closed for around 3 months and no doctors came in duty so far.
Reportedly, the Shanichara Primary Hospital is the lifeline of around 50,000 people at that area.
But due to the negligence of the State Govt the Hospital was totally closed for 3 months.
People for any medical treatment have to go to Dharmanagar Dist hospital.
The matter came to disclose when the Panchayat Pradan Swapna Nath arrived with her mother-in-law for primary health service.
She waited for 1 hrs there and ultimately came to Dharmanagar Hospital for treatment.
But at the signboard there it is boldly written that 24 hrs health service is available at that primary hospital.
This 10 beded Hospital was inaugurated by the then Health minister Tapan Chakraborty in 2007, but this is the present scenario of the hospital, where no doctors, no health facility are available so far.
