AGARTALA, Jan 09 (TIWN): Tripura Schools suffering from Govt apathy, rampant corruptions as basic facilities missing from various schools. Brajendranagar Village children at Dharmanagar like other Indian students wish to enjoy all the luxuries under Right to Education, but unfortunately being the students of a ‘poor’ govt, the students are facing massive water drought inside the school premise, which leading as suffocating 5 hours at school. Reportedly, for Brajendranagar H. S. School massive funds came from the Central Govt. in the last FY, but due to Panchayat corruption many works delay there. Whereas purified water supply system was instructed to every schools, but that school had only one tube well but it has remained without repairing since years. Panchayat corruption causing various water related problems in that whole area day to day. As a result the water used in mid-day-meal is also taken from very unhygienic sources and after mid-day-meal students again have to suffer from water crisis.

Sources said that across North Tripura there is hardly any school having purified water system.Not only in school,but the Anganwadi school condition is also same.

The Social Welfare Minister Bijita Nath may be unaware about all these problems which has turned little innocent children’s lives under peril. Due to her negligence what is going on in the name of Anganwadi centres across the state nobody cares.

An Anganwdi Centre named Western Side Angwanwadi Centre, where children are consuming poisonous water made food everyday, but nobody has any concern about it. The well remained without maintenance since many years. The Anganwadi Centre in Deoan-Pasa is under heavy challenge due to Panchayat’s too much interference in it.

Recently in an incident, the Panchaya Pradhan named Sobha Devi, when came to the spot, after agitated public stopped class in that mentioned pre-primary school, she said the Anganwadi has water supply system but later she miserable failed to show any water-supply inside it. Then she realized no water supply is there inside the Anganwadi. This is the condition of Golden Era, where the leaders are leading such pathetic level knowledge about own areas.

This is the condition of Tripura’s Education quality, whereas the Chief Minister here and there claims that Tripura having highest literacy rate with 98 % already.
